Hey, i'm coming down to the St. Augustine area during feb. vacation and i'm looking for a place that rents out MTBs. I couldn't convince my parents to let me bring my bike along on the trip but my dad told me that if i found a place, I could rent one. Soooo...i'm looking

I was just down in Palm Coast which is just south of St Augustine. There was a really cool little shop called PCBike there. Look them up. I know they have a website.

Don't know how popular mountain bikes are in that region. I stopped into two bike shops along the coast last year and neither even carried mountain bikes. The place is ruler flat, the biggest "hills" are the bridges. But perhaps someone sells them for riding on the sand or in some of the state parks around the area.

Bike Fitters will probably offer them as that's a large bike shop.

Mountain bikes are popular here. The land isn't as flat inland. There is a state park on the island called Anastasia State Park...probably some mtb routes there.
