Which do you prefer?

I myself am a coke person.

I rarely drink soda, but if I go for one, it's gonna be Coke over Pepsi.

nooooooooo can't you all taste the burning feeling of coke?!?!?! maybe its just me :rolleyes:

I go through phases - at the moment I like Pepsi *way* more than coke. A few months ago it was the other way round.

As long as no-one says they taste the same, I'm sure we'll all get along fine....

Gotta be Coke, Pepsi makes my teeth ache, like it's pure sugar. I like the "bite" I get from Coke ;)

Doesn't really matter. My wife usually gets what is on sale that week.

can't you feel the layer of gunk that coke reveals? i am more of a root beer drinker.

Nothing like a cold coke after a long ride. That burning sensation is always nice :P

Actually with a double shot of rye or rum, I really can't tell the difference. Especially after several.

I really do not like sodas.. Drink way to many at work. When it is hot. Its easy to take whatever the vending machine has to offer. Much prefer I was always preparred and had juices at work.. I love pineapple juice. To me soda cool you down, but nutrition wise they are useless and I am suspect about how healty they are with all that acid.
Between coke/pepsi, I always prefer diet coke. Like the fizz of coke..Non diet coke. Too dam sweet,what 16 teaspoons of sugar? Would not drink one if given to me without charge.

The "bite" is caused by phosphoric acid, the main component in chemical rust removers. A lot of soft drinks & bottled/canned teas, etc., contain it, check the ingredients list on the container.

Ingestion of phosphoric acid leaches calcium from the bones, heavy/frequent use leading to osteoporosis.

kewlrunningz - long time, no hear. Last we heard you were drooling over a Trek (?) some months ago. Did you get it, how's it going, etc...

As long as its mixed 50/50 with rum I dont care :D

Diet Pepsi! Have to have one as soon as I get to work, before I even login to my PC. At home, sparkling fruit-flavored water or Crystal Light fruit punch.

Sun Drop if you can find it (only in tennessee that I know of)

While I was in Saudi we would sometimes have a can of Diet Pepsi in our locally procured box lunches. Granted that these came from Saudi Arabian bottlers, but this stuff was so nasty that even though it was 110-120 degrees outside, we'd pour it on the ground rather than drink it.

From then own, I could not bear to lift a Pepsi to my lips.


Also, being from Georgia, its hard not to be a coke fan.

RC's are great, when you can get them too.

I prefer Pepsi One, but it appears to be well on its way to extinction. So, I guess Pepsi.

I decided to get a scattante r-650 isntead. And Guess what?!

It is supposed to be here today!!!!! Like in a few hours. I've been freaking out all day long.....got 2 hours of sleep last night. I'm sure I'll scream like a lil girl when it comes but I'm so excited. I can't wait to race the MS 150 on my home turf on the new bike. :)

Thank you! I had a heck of a time convincing friends that Mexican Coca-Cola is better than the domestic stuff. Then it started that you could sometimes find it in your friendly neighborhood tacquerias and carnecerias. So much better.
