This Summer while on tour I saw a German made trailer that folded flat. It had a flat platform and a single 20" wheel. The hitch was a fork type arrangement that attached at both sides of the rear axle somewhat similar to a BOB, but I am not sure if it used a special skewer or what. If memory serves, it looked like the whole thing was made of aluminum. Can anyone point me to more info on this trailer.

Not the one you are referring to, but the Radical Design Cyclone (http://www.radicaldesign.nl/en/products/trailers/cyclone.php) has wheels that pop off without tools and the hitch also detaches in seconds without tools .The whole thing folds down fairly flat with the wheels and hitch stores inside. The company is located in the Netherlands.

If the trailer is loaded and you take the wheels/hitch off it looks just like a small duffel bag. The hitch comes in a version for 16"/20" wheels and one for 26"/700c wheels so the trailer stays level.

They also make a stripped down platform only cargo version.

Then there is the Extra Wheel (http://extrawheel.com/przyczepkiextrawheel_en.php) from Europe as well. I've heard good things about this product. If you are okay with having to load each side equally and not being able to carry large boxes this could be a good option.

There are some good videos on youtube for this system...

I suspect he does not have the packs loaded for the demo, but the Bike Friday (classic model!) demo is pretty impressive from a handling standpoint. Way cool bike too!

Meant to throw the Carry Freedom into the mix as well... Not the one the OP was looking for but it does fold flat I think. No experience here with it but others might know more.
