Foo - Toronto Foos ... I'm coming up!

Visiting a friend for a long weekend and hitting the Bike Show Saturday March 8th.

:) Just thought I'd warn ya in advance. And of course hitting my favorite St. Lawrence market Sat morning too.

Last time I was there - I came back our now defunct ferry.

And brought some pea-meal bacon and sausage - all still shrink wrapped, etc.

Getting off the boat was no problem - going thru customs proved bad. One of the 3 men sitting by me (all three got trashed on the boat - there were 2 bars) - and he "lost" his passport - which meant all agents were on the boat looking for it. Or so it seemed.

Next I go thru - and man asks me if I had this and that and I said just some sausage etc (he asked what it was made of --- and I told him it was pork - as at that time beef products were still not allowed into the U.S.). But did he believe me? NooOoooO. Step aside.

It was nearly 10:30 at night - we took longer to arrive into port due to rough weather on the lake - and I had ONE freakin bus left to get home with for the evening - and I let them know that.

I sat in a glass enclosed room for nearly an hour. And of course I blew up, badly. Ended up having 4 officials in front of me explaining the delay, etc. Idiots. The whole exercise of examining my sausages took 3 minutes. I'm not admitting anything, anymore. You wanna search it, go for it.

What a PITA... for some damned sausages? Madness. Well there are no beef issues so far this year. The Bike show is always fun. thanks for the warning...:lol:
