Ok i rode from clintonville to new london and used the libarary computer and them decided to go on to oshkosh. I was told by several people to not take hy 45 out of new london but instead to take hy d to hy w then 110 into oshkosh because there was less traffic. i got on to "d" and there was definatly less traffic but many hills to climb these are not real big hills in comparison to the ones Ive allready tackled in the rocky's and cascade's, but still hills. there was a bit of a paved area between the white line and the gravel shoulder to ride on. the wind was enough tomake me work a bit harder than i wanted to today.
as i turned onto hy "w" the road took a slight turn and the wind again wasnt a direct hit so the going was eaiser and although there wasnt much of a shoulder to ride on there was almost no traffic. When i hit hy 110 there was a 4 ft wide paved shoulder and the going was good the wind either changed direction or slowed down now because ther was little resistance from it. The last 10 miles became a death trap the shoulder dissipared and i had to ride right in traffic this area is supposed to be 40 mph but people were going 60 racing to the entrance of hy 41 Was glad to finially see this entrance to 41 and these road ragers turning off.
Rolled into oshkosh and finially found a place to crash i figured Id take off in the morning and make fond du lack only about 21 miles then decide on a direction either straight into milwaukee or east to the lake and follow the shore down, either way it should be 2 or 3 days max to the finish line catfish on a bike part 2 of a 5 part series.
woke up to heavy rain and strong winds 20-25 mph the direction would be a head wind sooooooooo i took an unexpected day off here in oshkosh just hangin out doing chores and exploreing
