There is a fun ride in Ann Arbor, MI on Sunday January 27th. They call it the "Worst Day of the Year Ride" because the weather is usually nasty for riding that time of year, but really fun. Last year it was a lot of fun.

I just went to Wheels in Motion and saw the 40 mi route, it looks nice. It goes thru town, on the Gallup Park trail, then up to 7 mile, then back down to town. I think Mrs Road Fan and I are in. 40 miles will be our first long ride since October.

But they weren't ready to hand out copies of the map and turn-by-turn.

I hope to meet you there, Brotherdan! I'm NOT hoping for heavy snow, I'd like to do a cold clear 40 mi road ride. But maybe I should glue my CX tires onto a set of wheels just in case!
