I have a Merlin with a couple of small scratches and was wondering how to get them out. I know to use steel wool, but do not know the procedure.

Thanks,

Bill F.

I use green Scotch brite pads on mine. Try to stay with the grain which usually means perpindicular to the tube. Just lightly rub the scratches out.

If the frame is clear coated I would use an Auto buffing compound. If the frame is raw some 800+ wet dry sandpaper would be better.
