What is the strangest thing you opened a beer bottle on?

Here are a few of mine:

A Hummer's open door latch (encouraged by the vehicle's owner.)
A HP RAID array.
Numerous door latch strikes.
A bicycle frame (custom bike that had a bottle opener built in)
A belt buckle (common, but usable)

I've seen people do it with their teeth. It's an entirely unpleasant thought.

It's not coincidence that deep white trash rednecks have no teeth by the time they're 35.

Why do my termite senses say that sandal was created by Jimmy Buffet?

I used to have an AA 1-year coin, with a slot cut into it. Some guy gave it to me as a tip, when I was tending bar.

I have a putter with a convenient groove on the back. It always gets a good laugh on the links

A Marine Corps belt buckle opens bottles quite nicely.

I usually just use the lighter trick. I'm good at using the edge of anything. I've tried to do it with a ring, but I can't figure that one out.

I TRIED to open one on a park table once. Turns out the table was plastic molded in the shape of wood... rather soft plastic too :D

I don't drink beer, but I've opened bottles with a knife a few times. That has the potential to end badly. :p

^^one right side up, the other upside down, bottom edge of caps touching. It works well unless the one on top opens first....

Never use the same bottle on top twice, it's messy.

Oh, I was thinking you'd be opening a new bottle with the empty old one. That'd be far more useful.

The baby changer platform in an airport bathroom.

Foamed out and I wiped it up as best I could, but the next changed baby may be a malty smelling one.

Remember the bottles that came with twist opener on the bottom.

I opened one with my wedding ring recently, but it bent the ring and bugs the hell outta me.

Remember the trick to blast the bottom out of a bottle? Open it, and when full, hold it in the normal fashion on the side and whack the top hole real hard with the flat of your palm. It used to work with Mildew bottles in the early 80s. :)

Not nearly as much as it bugs your wife, I'll bet!

As a long-time musician & audio engineer/stage technician (aka "roadie") I've opened countless beer bottles on the Sessions® latches that are on nearly all heavy duty equipment transport cases...but that's not considered "strange" in the industry, that's considered "minimum mandatory skill".

In high school a friend had a car, I think it was an AMC Pacer, that had some weird divot in or under the hatchback door that was perfect for opening beer bottles.

The dropouts I just brazed on my bike:

What passes for alignment (note the vernier calipers):

Before filing:

After Filing:

All painted (drive side):
http://staticline.drastic-creations.com/stand/dropout5.jpg

So it was kind of a hack job.. the side with the bottle-opener is a hair lower than the drive side so at first I thought I was screwed (especially because I couldn't adjust wheel dish, seeing as I have a disc wheel), but it turns out my axle spacers were off, and now it's just fine. Plus it opens beer like a champ!
