I've been getting pretty bored with my 4yr old Cannondale R500 triple.....it's a nice bike, but I want a lil better. I have $2200 and I am looking for a good all around road bike. I no longer need a triple, so I am looking for a nice light weight double, with very good components (at least ultegra) with a nice set of wheels. Any suggestions would be helpful!! ~Thank you

How about the new '04 Trek 2300? Full Ultegra components....

Looks like it's a combo of carbon and ZR9000. Looks like a great bike.

Of course, if you want to splurge a little more, you could go for the 5200. I've had mine for a month and absolutely love it!

How about the R1000? Great bike, superior frame and Ultrega components.

If you want to consider a steel bike, go for a work of art -- a Landshark (http://www.landsharkbicycles.com/) built personally by John Slawta. You can get one from your local dealer if they carry it or from Gary Hobbs (http://www.gvhbikes.com). You not only get a custom-designed handmade bike but you also get one of John Slawta's beautiful one-of-a-kind paint jobs. The price for the total bike w/Ultegra should be well within your budget. (I'm saving my money for a Landshark right now.)

Colorado Cyclist has the Litespeed Capella with Ultegra and Mavic cosmos whells for $1499 right now as a year end close out special. Seems like a sweet deal.

You could probably get a deal on a 02-03 Litespeed Tuscany. One of the greatest overall machines ever built, so you will never need another frame.
