Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

While helping the neighbor lady change the flat tire on her husband's
pickup truck, the conversation turned to bicycles. When she spoke of
riding her "Old" coaster-brake bike up and down the MUP along the river
and the struggle to climb the hill at the south end of the trail....well
it seemed like the right thing to do was to pass along the old
J.C. Penny ladies 3-spd. that a freind had given to me last fall. It's
a 70's era bike, looks brand new and should fit her one to two ride
per summer needs quite well.
Don't tell my bride, but there's an empty slot in the garage now. I
wonder what will find it's way to me next?!?!

This infraction will be overlooked since it was for a good cause. Please don't ever say or type "N-1" again.

You have a good heart and thus are undeserving of the awful curse that has fallen upon your head, which can only be lifted by obtaining another bicycle.

The pertinent fact is that there is a space that has to be filled. I reckon a nice CF frame and handbuilt wheels to start off with.

OH NO. Please, remove the curse!
It's all just part of the hobby. My neighbors and freinds know I like
to work on the bikes and often donate old family bikes to me knowing
I'll tune and repair them as needed and then find a good home for the
orphaned bikes. It's kind of a carry-over from the old Flea Market Bike
Booth days but no money is involved. Only turned three bikes around
in the past 12 months, kinda a slow year. :(

None of us have any control over the curse. We are just as subject to it as you. You must seek a higher authority to remove it.
