2008 Tour on cycling.tv?

Hey folks,

I've always watched the Tour on OLN/Versus, but am considering canceling cable (I hate Comcast). Has anybody watched the coverage on cycling.tv? Is TDF08 going to be streamed live? What's the image quality like? Who does the commentary?

I will miss Phil and Paul and Bob (and maybe Al a little) but I don't think I can bring myself to keep handing over such a huge amount of money to the cable company any more.

Also, what happened to the old threads in this forum? I wanted to see what people's thoughts were about cycling.tv during last year's Tour, but all the threads got deleted.

The TDF will not be streamed live on cycling.tv, but they will show highlights. Unfortunately, Versus owns the rights to the North American broadcast.

just head to local LBS......i know 3 or 4 that have it on the entire tour and welcome customers to come watch and even set up couches in front of the tvs for it.....
