These goodies will hopefully adorn a new Blindside. In lieu of that, they will at least freshen up the Gran Mal. My thanks to Syncros for allowing me to rep such quality goods.

Bulk 7075 bar, 40mm rise and FR stem - - dig the swirls of polished twining around the bead-blast finish:

Closeup of the two-tone FR stem - - has that 'spats' panache :) :

Derived seatpost 400mmx27.2 (they don't make a 30.0) - - the head is drawn in one piece with the shaft, two-bolt, side-by-side clamp:

The 08 FR saddle - - with white side panels now:

Carbon fiber and spring steel chain guide and chromed aluminum bash ring (36-38T) - - decided to give the CF version another go (my token wieght weenie gesture):

Good god that's a nice thing to get in the mail.

I'm curious to see how that CF hold's up to the rigors of FR.

Ever so slowly they regain their credibility.

Syncros made some really nice stems and posts back in the early-mid '90s.. they were the Thomson of the time, or maybe ringle was.

Yes. I'm still using a '93 Syncros seatpost.

But then there were the dark years....

Nioce! What rise are the bars? I really want to pick up some of those Sunline V0One 29" bars, just to test out the wise bar craze. I have my Easton's cut to 27", and am curious what 29" would feel like, but alas, my distributor is out of stock :(

You'd really like the wide bars, it does give the give a much more stable feel to it.

I recommend to try them out. Keep a look out, I'm going to be doing a write up on my Gravity Lites tomorrow.

That's what I've heard, more stable. How wide are your Gravity Lites? I want to try to the Sunlines, but BTI has been out of stock the last few weeks.

I agree with Smashy on the wide bar thing - - especially if you are broad-shouldered (which I am not). The Sunline V-Ones will not disappoint and will be worth the wait if you can. I would do a Sunline cockpit again in a flash; but Syncros made an offer I could not ignore :)

That's awesome! I'm curious to see how the CF chain guide is gonna hold up...either way should be sweet.

Indeed. I have not been totally impressed with the post-Pippin stuff. I've got a bearhug stem from 05 that is nice and stiff but it's definitely on the husky side. I do think the new ones are lighter though.

I still have one of the old Revolution tubular cromo cranksets kicking around. Super nice, but square taper...
