December 20th: Ordered Taurine - expected ship date: Jan 16th

Today (Jan 10th): Called to check up on the order and remind friend of Scalpel recall (his was affected): Ordered Taurine expected ship date: March 8th!!!


I have all of this money, and it's just sitting there! Gunna roll it over into savings account to let the interest gather for the next 2.5 months :mad:

What makes it all worse is my compadre has a 2008 Taurine Team demo bike that was used at Interbike that he's selling for $2400 LESS than a fresh one.

Salsa got his Taurine frame before x-mas - it's sitting in his room waiting for a trip to the LBS for a bit of assembly.... BUT, when he was "holding out" for the team replica colors - delivery date was looking towards March.

I went through the same stuff last year with a frame. I think it's a carbon fiber thing.

I ordered the blue paint scheme, but equipped with all of the team goodies. My source thinks it might be the carbon Hollowgram crankset that is holding things up.

But if anybody wants a Taurine Team for a happy ending over $3k, I have a line on two of them.

I have a '99 Killer V 900, complete with 40mm of pogo-stick headshock and a*s-destroying oversized aluminum rear end I can send out to hold you over 'till march ;)

We call it The DALE.

I would, but shipping on something like that would overcome what I am paying for the Taurine....

It's the blue that's holding things up. I think. I'm a dealer and recently called regarding the Taurine and Rush 2 in blue. While they have oranges in right now, they expect to get their shipment of blue frames in late February.

I don't think cannondales are sexy
