Wow,
that worked. I was still sore from an actual bike rode a couple days ago, so I did an easy spin for close to an hour. At that point the backs of my legs were saying they weren't happy.

But I didn't feel like quitting, so I hauled out the rower, and they jump your heart
rate up fast. I only added 20 minutes more, but I am going to have to do that more often.

I want to play with this dual workout idea, and am open to suggestions.

What rower do you have? If you did it again would you buy the same one?

I have a Concept 2 Model C.

I bought the front half in a yard sale for $10. The rear half was my Xmas present and was a couple hundred. New Concept 2 rowers go for about 800.

I wouldn't pay that much; I'm not a rich guy. But it is one heck of a training tool. They come with a module that does time and watts and such. The new ones have games built in. Next year I might get one of the new ones modules. I think that would help.

My gym used to have a Concept 2, a gym in your area might have one of the better rowers. Most gyms will let you try a place out. So you could go in and at least try a rower once. My gym has day passes, which are nice.

It's a big investment, and you should be pretty sure you really want it before plunking down the dough. One thing, it's big. It took some serious negotiation with the boss to find a place to put it. It cost me my subwoofer.
