Texas - BikeHouston.org?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Anyone on this board a member? How do I find out about meetings? Who can I contact to sign up?

I tried to sign up last year online, but all I ever got was a bunch of spam from Active.com and no actual Houston biking information. The website is useless, I linked to the registration form and got an error message.

I'm sick of being a second-class road user in Houston, and I want to help make things better.

And I really do know how to spell Houston, I swear! (The editing function isn't letting me fix the title for some reason)

Don't even get me started about the website. Last 2 years that url is only been good for finding out one thing.... When is the Moonlight Ramble.

I'd try PM'ing kf5nd (http://www.bikeforums.net/member.php?u=14354), maybe he can help you find ways of helping your area. I remember he use to MOD the BikeHouston's forum. On this forum, you'll find him over in the Advocacy subforum.

EDIT: **Note intended to be a "use the search" thing. Just I found the last time this question was asked...clicky (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=317458)

They have a Yahoo! group, bikehouston. I'm a member and signed up for the Ramble year before last on the group site.
