Great Lakes - anyone from OHIO doing the Triple Bypass in Colorado???

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
So I have officially registered to ride in Colorado's premier mountain ride in July, know as the Triple Bypass. You ride over three mountain passes all over 10000 ft (highest one is Loveland pass at 12000) with a total ride distance of 120 miles. Oh, did I mention this is a one day ride?. Anyone else in Ohio going to try this crazyness with me??

OH.My.Gosh! I would love that! I was in Loveland Pass this past summer. Just absolutely stunning! I love the Rockies.
I'm spending most of June in Boulder but will have family in and out and my family to tend to as well. Plan on riding a lot but I won't be there in July or I'd consider attacking the Triple Bypass myself.
Please post a report once you ride this. I'd love to hear all the details. I'm hoping Ohio offers you some good training areas. It's rough around our area to find real mountains. Crystal

Is that Berthoud, Loveland and Trail Ridge? With an out and back on Mt. Evans?
ken, No, the route is juniper, loveland, vail, one way, with finish in Avon. You have to find your own way back!
