well i dont need the lawnmower but i am interested in the 10ah 24volt nicad packs it uses. i was going to go lithium but i may be moving again come spring and i need to start saving money. i have over $200 in canadan tire gift cards from christmas :)

ill pick two up see if its usable. at this point anythings better than led acid i can even reuse the original cases lol

cheers

I was under the impression that NiCads were NOT powerful enough......

no people are using them :0 thay have alot of power its just the drop off point is sharp. not like led acid that dies slowly.

a small update one problem i had with going with from a 15ah to 10ah was the cutout point. it would not cutout totally but it was a pain. so i found that r11 resister on the golden motor controller changes the cutout point so i had a look at my other controller and the ics are the same just a different layout. so to make a long story short i found it and changed the value. the packs work great for miles. would be nice to add a pot so i can ajust it with different batterys.

cheers

yup and wet cold and dont forget the mud. lots of sand on the road didnt think it would be a good idea to carry the cam on a ride. you can feel the front wheel slip in turns. not a good time to ride here :(
