Waaaaaahhhhh!!! Foot surgery tomorrow morning!!! [Archive]

Well the time has finally come for my foot to be operated on. For those of you who went to the Lancaster Metric in August you may recall my foot issue. Well after 1 previous operation on August 31st it developed into a bone infection and now the bone has to be removed. I have not ridden since that ride and I only rode about 5 miles of that. I hope this settles it once and for all. I want to be back in the saddle by spring. I miss my bike and have been seriously depressed with the wonderful weather we have been having here in New Jersey and not being able to get out and ride:(:(:(.

Very close...Burlington NJ., but soon to be moving to Ewing (Trenton) which is also not too far.

Thanks for the sentiments gang (Odds Bodkins Beth...I thought you forgot about me:p). I am home and a bit sore. I have to take painkillers for the first time ever and I can't say they suck, but they aren't as great as I have heard either. I go back to the doc on Wednesday and I hope to find out then how long I will be off of my feet. I hope I will be back on the bike by spring...even if it is to just putter around town. I miss riding. I can't imagine I will have any strength by then.

Your thoughts are very encouraging and they remind me of why I love these forums so much.
