When spring rolls around, we're taking our tandem out for a long overdue ride, then decide if we want to sell it. And if the missus decides she's done with it, then it will go up for sale at that time. We built it when we lived in Australia, at a rather ridiculous cost. I'd be quite happy if folks could give me their estimation of its value, since I've apparently lost touch with the retail side of pricing.
It's a 17"/15" titanium frame with six couplers. I've been told that this frame can easily be converted to a more road-oriented touring bike, since the spec never really called for a 5" fork. Anyway, it's got a Marzocchi DJ up from with the 20mm thru-axle, a spare ATC Racing dual crown, Avid mechanical discs with 203mm rotors, SRAM X9 shifters and rear derailleur, XTR front, titanium handlebars, Rhynolite 36 spoke rims with disc hubs, (I'll have to check the brand, it's been a while) Continental folding tires, TruVativ cranks, assorted platform and clipless pedals, a cheap suspension post for the stoker, Specialized BG seats, and boxes of little extras, such as Magura Julie hydraulics that have never been installed, a replacement aluminum stoker stem, (needs a shim, the current one is steel) cables, bottle cages, bells, bar-ends, a pump, small lights, and whatever other bits and pieces we're not likely to need.
