Fifty Plus (50+) - Hey Jet Travis, guess what???

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I shaved! :D
Of course, I'm referring to my (now former) goatee, but still, I've shaved a few grams and improved my speed by at least 0.00001 mph!
It's been so many years since I was clean shaven I can't remember it. Probably twenty. Anyone else chop off their whiskers lately?

Big deal. Write when you shave your legs.
Hey Jet, did the hair ever grow back on your legs?:D

I'm sorry, but I'm not ready to talk about it yet. Maybe in a few years.

The reason for shaving legs is to facilitate the medics when they try to clean up the wounds after an off on the road.
Is DG Contemplating testing the Peugeot by doing a face plant?

I do believe BCIpam and stapfam said falling quite a bit was the norm.
Edit: read http://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.php?p=5969230&postcount=1
But, I didn't think any mountain bikers shaved their legs. You'd think they would be the ones that really needed to!

Honest to god, what is it with these occasional chinny-chin-chin hairs that appear as we get older? Combine short white hairs with the need for bifocals, and it's next to impossible to find and pull the danged things!

:roflmao:
I carry a mirror and pair of tweezers in my purse because once I discover this wild hair I need to pluck it immediately:)
