Any idea ho w fast it sells out, a day, one week, two weeks? Am I mistaken, did it take about 2 weeks last year?

I think it sold out in a week last time. The organizers think it may sell out faster this year.

I agree. Half of the time that I'm registering for events, it doesn't let me do it with my account. This morning after several attempts, I said "F it" and just registered for the event as a guest.

I thought you were going to do KOM this year, this is one of the rides.

Where is M.E.?

I thought that since she did Triple Crown last year that she was going to do KOM this year. It has to be easier, it's almost half the mileage of the Triple Crown. :D:D

M.E. seems to be intent on being wishy washy and non-committal this season. I suspect that plenty of harsh ridicule and cajoling will be just the ticket to bringing her around.

To one of the guys that convinced me to push my limits last year and take on KOM,

It's my turn to push and nudge this year. You can do it Herb!

Which was actually pretty good. The food at BA (during and after) was probably the best of any organized ride I did last year.

I was wondering about this... what kind of foods areprovided during the ride? Do they also use Hammer products, and do you need toprovide a flask for gels?

Honestly..I saw the confidence within you and knew you could do it...plus seeing the constant improvement in your riding..you would be significantly better each time I saw you ride!

As for me...thanks everyone...maybe someday...my goal at this point is to make it to Mt Baldy ..hopefully more than once...(and no I did not say to the lifts)
As for KOM, its not the distance, its the elevation.... I am continuing to work on my climbing...this ride up Latigo was a tough ride for me...but i did it...so I know I am improving...but at 4650 feet...I can see I still I have a ways to go...
As Clint Eastwood said "A man has got to know his limitations"
But who knows...in a year and hopefully 12-15 lbs lighter...anything might be possible!!
