does anyone have a recommendation for good clipless snow pedals? Ive been riding crankBros eggbeaters and absolutely love them, however when riding in thick snow and ice, I sometimes get so much hard ice around my cleats that I cant clip in. I was thinking of getting the crankBros mallet http://www.performancebike.com/product_images/500/50-3194-NCL-ANGLE.jpg because it looks like it has a solid platform that would help when my cleats freeze, or if its so cold that I need snow boots, and cant use my cycling shoes.

I can only assume that someone here has dealt with similar problems or has strong opinions on winter pedals
