A few mistakes, but they're playing damned well against the Colts. Especially with LT out of the game (which hopefully won't last).

Great game...but will the Chargers have enough manpower back next week? LT, Gates, and Rivers being hurt or playing hurt is a big handicap, esp against New England.

i don't think it really matters at this point. they've already proven everyone wrong and have nothing to lose next week. that's not to say i won't be bummed if they do lose.

I love it when the Cowboys lose. Now the NFC championship will have to go through Lambeau and the true America's team, the Green Bay Packers.

All hail Favre

Hi,

Yes! Giants!!! Nothing against the Bolts -- yet. :D

Yeah, I became a part-time Giants fan this weekend. I hate the Cowboys, especially since I live in TX for the time being. Most knuckleheads around here don't recognize my powder blue Chargers jersey. Chargers win and a Cowboys loss, what a weekend!.

No buts. It's off topic. No bikes anywhere. Begone! :D

The NFL is already selling Patriots AFC Champs stuff. Guess there's no need to actually play the game...lol.

Now there's an omen!! That's why there is a saying, "On any given Sunday" in the NFL. They are due for a meltdown, and the Chargers are just the team to make that happen.

GO CHARGERS!!!

They also have Chargers AFC Conference champ stuff, just covering their bases.

Go Chargers!!

As a lifelong New England/Boston fan, I wouldn't mind getting the perfect season. But, as a lifelong/Boston fan, I've been conditioned to always pull for the underdog... so I secretly (shh) wouldn't mind seeing the Chargers knock the big bad Pats off their pedestal.

However, the cynic in me sees how incredibly HUGE a Packers-Pats Super Bowl would be... (COUGH*refs*COUGH)... I don't believe "the fix is in", just that if you're a ref, I have to believe the subconscious inclination, however slight, would be to favor the Pack and Pats with borderline calls down the stretch.

Unless of course, the ref's also subconsciously want to see the Pats knocked off their pedestal!!:) If it is a Pats-Packers Super Bowl, I think it would be better played in cold conditions, rather than Arizona. We need more Super Bowls to be played in adverse conditions, IMHO.

Never punt in the maroon zone. I don't care if it's 3 and 10.
