Bicycle Mechanics - Are outboard bearing BBs interchangeable?

I have a Truvativ Roulleur (sp?) carbon triple crank set with out board bearing cups. Yesterday I was cleaning my chain, gave it a spin and was surprised that it stopped pretty quickly. So I pull off the bearing cups and check to make sure the bearings are lubed and aren't rough. Everything checked out OK it just seems like they have more bearing friction than what I was raised on (Campy Super Record).
So the question is:
Are there higher quality outboard bearing sets available (from anybody) that will match the gigapipe spindle diameter and put up a little less resistance ?

no. truvativ isn't interchangeable with fsa. besides which the fsa in my experience are ordinary at best.
the free spinning bearing 'friction' you are experiencing by simply rolling the unloaded cranks is completely unrelated to pedalling load and bearing friction. this topic has been covered many times in many internet forums.
