There was a thread about this very topic a while back. The trailer is a very neat thing to look at, but maybe it's not really much more elaborate than a touring cyclists 2-person tent. In the latter case, his feet would be protected from the rain.
Here's the earlier thread. (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=357269)
But some people do like to have a normal life.
I think that's going a little too far. How about a nice 110 square foot tiny house (http://www.tumbleweedhouses.com/houses.htm) instead?

If I could find somewhere to park it around here, I'd be very tempted to try it.

I've been quite into the tumbleweed houses for a while now. On the other hand, how about building a moderately larger and more substantial version of this trike-house, and using a good high torque electric assist to help move it over hills and such?

Cute. I realize that being an urban solution, he could eat out all the time and that a DVD player or iPod might do for entertainment. But I didn't see any sanitary facilities.

That sounds real interesting. I wish you'd start a new thread and tell us more about your plans. :)
