I just purchased a new Felt S22 Triathlon bike and it has a FSA 1" Integrated headset and to get a more aggressive aero position I purchased an Oval Concepts 73 degree rise stem. Are these standard stems made to fit a 1-1/8" headset and not my 1", because it didn't fit when I tried. Is there anything I can do to make it work or is it going to be too much of a hassle? Thanks in advance.

1-1/8" has become the norm for threadless headsets and fork steerers, even on road bikes. You can get a shim to use that stem (and any more common 1-1/8" stem) on your bike. Measure the steerer clamp height of your stem first so you can get a shim that's the same height or just shorter. Using a shim is certainly less of a hassle than finding a threadless 1" stem or buying a new bike.
