Hello there from an American on the last year of his contract in Tokyo.

I commute everyday on my trusty old Hard Rock a short 5 km each way, but a couple hills and the rush of traffic keep it exciting.

Right now, I like working on bike more than riding it, but I hope that shifts back to my normal perspective once I am back in LA next year and I can get onto some dirt again. (BTW, that is not to say that I don't like working on my bike-- I love it, but normally, I like riding at least as much).

I look forward to being enlightened by you all.

(Actually, I have already been enlightened once, but that was the part of the database that went south. Big round of applause for Joe for putting back together again. And thanks to the people before who reponded to my Fork problem. Going to attack it tomorrow).

All the best. And as they say in Japan, "Yoroshiku onegai itashimasu" which roughly means, "Please take care of me".
