Has anyone tried this rear light? http://www.blt-lights.com/product/rear_lights/wazoo/ I saw it today in a bike shop for $30. I did try a search on here, but did not work. Thanks for any input.
Yep I have 2 that at least looks identical though it does not say "BLT" on it. the led's are dim but it is pretty big and also a reflector. I used the 2 of em on my kiddie trailer.
I used this light on a 1300k last summer. Unfortunately it came unclipped from my saddle bag and broke on the first day, I strapped it on with an elastic and used it the rest of the ride (including all night through rural roads) and seemed to have no problem being seen by anybody. It is blinding if you stare at it directly. So I guess I'd say it a good bright light but not very durable.
I prefer their rear super doppler dx (http://www.blt-lights.com/product/rear_lights/rear_doppler/) but it cannot be clipped on to a saddle bag or knapsack or whatever. I've also used their wazoo dx (http://www.blt-lights.com/product/rear_lights/wazoo/wazoodx.php) which is good for clipping but not as bright (good for city use or added to a primary light), it uses watch style batteries.
