I noticed the I-Beam seat for my Mu SL doesn't have the bars where you can attach a seat post bag. Am I just out of luck or is there some other way to do this?

There are bags but the selection is limited.
I just upgraded to a conventional rail seatpost

CE Do you happen to remember which brands worked?

I used zip ties to attach a standard bag to the I-beam saddle. It works fine.

Check to see if your SDG saddle has the little bracket for the Topeak Quick-Click system. Some saddles seem to come with it already there, and some don't. You can buy it from SDG for $2.00 (email customer service). The following link shows the clip.

You can then use one of the Topeak Quick-Clip seat bags, like this one:

Other than these, you'll have to rig up something else, as Loch did.

Nice. I didn't know you could "upgrade" an SDG saddle that didn't have the attachment thingie (good to know for the wife's '05 SpeedPro).
