Advocacy & Safety - Baronness whacked scofflaw cyclist with her handbag

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

:beer: Now that's illiteration, not that tripe from The Sex Pistols
Be careful, "illiteration" shows your "illiteracy."

Well, okay. Fine. But, but that stuff from the Sex Pistols is still tripe - meaning cow's guts. :p

I was on my bike, stopped at a red signal. A guy crossing the road started staring at me/bike. I wodered if he knew me from somwhere or just liked my bike. Then he said cheerily "Glad to see a cyclist stopped at a red light, usually they just go past".
Someone threw a marshmallow at me from a bridge and it struck me. I demand that the DA prosecute the miscreant just as he would if he had thrown a concrete block. They are both OBJECTS and I could have swerved and come off in my startlement.

"That mashmallow flinging moron deserves to go to prison! He could've killed me with that thing!!" I can't believe some people in this thread seriously are suggesting that a wad of paper is a brick, and would want to prosecute the throwers of a wad of paper rather than, you know, a dangerous criminal.
