Man...the group ride this morning was faaaaast! Bunch of pros kept showing up (some Prime Alliance, Cody, and USPS Masters)...I kept thinking to myself, "there goes my steady ride". Alison Dunlap showed up, too - sportin' her mtn. bike with road slicks...and she had no problem keeping the crazy pace - hardcore! The Prime Alliance guys made steady work of the peloton by constantly breaking away...and of course, we'd have to kick it up to chase.
The best was rollin' up a hilly neighborhood and some little kids in front of one of the houses yelled out, "Alison Dunlap rocks!"...that was so sweet that little kids would recognize her and give her a shout! Totally sweet ride today!
