Mountain Biking - What do u think of the Banshee Scream?

hey peeps i was just wondering what u all think about the banshee scream? i am thinking of geting one before next season and i am just wondering if it is a good bike for freeridin. plx post your comments. Thx

Thats funny that you ask if it is a good freerider. Yes 100% yes. probably the top 3 for freeriding bikes. Can take huge hits, pedals like its 10 pounds lighter and still works well as a trail bikes. The engineer is awesome and readily available to ask any questions (Heypip on www.nsmb.com). The warranty rocks. I would (and will) buy this bike in a split second if you have the 3500$ for the minumum build.

Good bike if you have the skills to actually use it. A friend of mine just bought one and he loves it.

That's most of the parts.

I finished building it yesterday and took it out for the first ride today. It is the best bike in the world. My total weight is 44 pounds, but it's probally the most balanced bike I have ever seen in my life.

It's absolutely perfect.

Sill going to be 3500$ cdn for the low end verson. Nice bike and a future bike but I can't afford that. Besides I know very few riders who will actually use the entire bike. It is a very cool bike meant to do big things. Pippen did a great job with this one.

Ive had 2 rides on my Scream since yesterday. It truely is a beast. It does EVERYTHING. I can do all kinds of stuff I would never be able to do on any other bike. I have yet to push MY limits, but I am pretty sure the bike will be fine. I've done a bunch of drops to flat and a few drops to stair-tranny. It's been doin pretty good. But it got hella muddy today :(

I hope those are old pictures or a brand new bike...even DH/Freeriders still need cranks to the best of my knowledge. :roflmao:

The chain stays are huge!

That was taken on Wednsday night after I spent 2 hours setting everything up. I had the cranks on friday night and broke it in saturday. I've put around 12 hours on it in 2 days.

Look after it.... I'd kil myself if i put a scratch in a bike like that :)

I got to the shop at 9:15pm on wednesday and finished the initial build (minus cranks/bb/chain) in just under an hour and a half.

I ran all cables, installed fork, wheels, brakes, everything.

Friday I spent about 3 hours total tuning the hell out of the bike, installing BB/Cranks/Chain)

I waited 2 and a half months from the time of order until delivery. It was no fault of Banshee, just complications in shipping.

Everything is completely to my spec. I built the wheels, set everything up so frame install would go easily. The only problem I ran into was having to chase the BB threads, and grind down the Hayes bolts for the rear carrier.

This thing is INSANELY smooth. I've only gone like 5 feet to flat so far, but I've only got a few days on her.

She is quite the beauty. I love her like a child.
