Foo - The Toilet paper thread

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I don`t need fancy TP. I like Scott. Lots of TP for the price. My best friend is Scott. I like to tell him I wipe my ass with Scott. I don`t need Aloe or fluffieness. I just need good `ol TP that works without clogging the plumbing.

What's that line from Rocky Horror?
Great http://www.scottbrand.com/us/images/tw_1000_single.jpg!
my wife was getting something with aloe or lanolin added. I could not stand that arse oiling stuff. give me plain white two ply and I am happy. Although as the father of a young boy, I have come to love the flushable wipe. those things are awesome, esp. after eating spicy food the day before.
Bout dam time someone ran this thread!
I object to the Charmin Bears! I mean - alright - it's a happy bear to wiggle the tooshy and look innocent as they accept the 1 square as the (haha) disappear behind the tree to do their business.
But, ugh - corrected, BUTT, there's that one commercial out that points out the fact that charmin TP does not leave, um, dingleberries. I mean it shows the two bears wiggling their cut lil butts and one has white things hanging, and the other does not. And the commercial touts that fact too (that it's cleaner to use).
Sorry, I despise the poo poo charmin bears :)
Due to a recent problem with fissures I've been using alcohol free baby wipes, damn they feel good. Now that they are healing I'm weaning back to regular old single ply TP.
Someone explain perfumed TP to me... It ain't gonna make it smell any better.
We go thru one of these each week.

A freind of mine once called the campsite TP 'John Wayne TP': Rough, tough, and don't take no ***** off nobody. Didn't bother me so much-until the morning after we drank that bottle of scotch.

1st rule, any TP, I mean ANY TP I use MUST be 2-ply.
I have used Cottonelle for a long time. I mainly like it because it feels the "strongest" as well as being good and cushiony.

However, just this last week I bought a BIG old thing of some house brand 2-ply at Costco. I live alone and its a 36-roll package, so it should last me a while ( at least a week :p ). So far the jury is still out on the Costco one. They aren't cushiony, but that doesn't bother me. They seem to be strong enough and they are 2-ply, however, they don't rip well at the perforations. They seem to want to rip down the middle of the sheet all the time and go through about 2 sheets before finally breaking off. That's annoying (and wasteful).

And now for the important question:
Over or under?

Actually I do use something similar to that too (sometimes at least). I keep a box on the top of the tank. :)

My personal favorite is Charmin Plus with Aloe.
Every time I've had to use that Scott stuff....wiping my butt felt equivalent to getting tortured with bamboo spikes under the fingernails. Life's too short to use *hitty toilet paper people!
Life's too short to use *hitty toilet paper people!Well, no. It's not supposed to be that way until you're done with it.

Nothun' but the softest for my skin. And besides, I don't want a "blowout" on a high speed wipe.

Maybe you should just get a bidet.
Trouble is, it wouldn't fit in my purse. :)
