I see on bicycletexas.com the 07 ride was 5/19/07 but the link is dead. Does anyone know when/if it is happening this year or when they usually pick a date?

My wife need to put in for the day off soon or she'll miss the opportunity. She already called the number and just got a machine and no callback.

The website below works for me, but is showing the 2007 info. If you click on "Register", it does show an actual phone number (let us know if you call!).
This is also shown on the archives of www.bicycle-stuff.com (http://www.bicycle-stuff.com) but is not on the 2008 calendar yet.

I'm new at this, too, but I assume these rides come and go to some extent. It'd be a major headache putting it all together, and if they don't make a bunch of money off it, that's the end of it. Or if they just changed personnel to somebody that wasn't interested.

Well they called my wife back. They plan on getting the site updated in the next month or so and it should be May 17th.

excellent. It was a wonderful ride last year and I hope to do it again.
