Didn't have my camera, so I don't actually have proof... but I did see him at the start of the Pier Ride.
I was going in the opposite direction, so can't tell you for sure if he actually did the ride (he could have just posed there and went back home). But I did see him clip in and start off with the rest. Can anyone on the ride confirm? Is this Urban Legend dead?

“Ride” is somewhat misleading. Once it turns left on Admiralty Way, it becomes the Pier Race. The first time you do it, it’s a real eye opener, but like anything, the more you do it...
I have a friend who got dropped on that ride every week for almost two years, but kept at it, and is now able to finish with the pack. If you really wanna Go Fast, the PR will do it.

that's what happened...i didn't know the deal and wasn't ready when they dropped the hammer. SEE YA! :lol:
