Gotcha didn't I? :D

A Reese's Cup?? Me, I like to nibble all the little ridges from around them, then eat just the chocolate from the bottom & sides, revealing the peanut butter, nibble a little of the peanut butter, strip more chocolate from the top, finally with very little chocolate left I eat the remainder of the peanut butter. Do this for each one.

You?...

I punch out and eat the middle first. Eat the ridges last.

1. Eat the edges.
2. Peal the chocolate off the top then eat that.
3. Eat final part of the Reese's cup.

I push the peanut buttery goodness out of the cup with my thumb from the bottom.

I then use my tongue to remove as much of the PB filling as possible.

After that, I bite the remaining circle of chocolate life in half, then a quarter, then a eighth, then I swallow the rest without chewing.

I don't eat them. I have a different recipe that tastes the same. Peanut butter, rice milk, rice cookies n cream ice cream, and cocoa powder or some other form of chocolate, all blended together. Tastes like drinking a peanut butter cup, and it's actually fairly healthy.

That recipe is easily used with regular ice cream to taste quite a bit better if you are more of a junk food lover than I am. I used to like moose tracks, cheap duplex cookies, peanut butter and whole milk all added together. It's about as unhealthy as it gets, but also about as tasty as it gets.

Throw it in the freezer, pop it in whole, let it dissolve in my mouth.

Explain? If it is true, I'll be close to heaven...

Very similar to your method. Mainly because I love the peanutbutter part best and want to eat it as "untainted" (with chocolate) as I can.

Apus, Look at the ingredients in rice ice cream. It's a bunch of organic crap. Dark chocolate or whatever you select isn't too bad, I mean it's not great for you, but it's not like eating at McDonalds. Peanuts aren't the best form of nuts, but they aren't bad for you. Juiced rice is juiced rice. Again, not too bad for you, but it tastes good, and is miles ahead of dairy. You could also add some organic cookies like the paul newman kind or whatever for some added taste. But I usually don't bother.

It's like a healthy alternative to a milk shake. Only problem is it costs about 10 dollars to make 2 or 3 of them.

Not a huge fan of them, to be honest. If I do eat one, I'll most likely just pop the thing in my mouth and eat it.

Why not just buy a bar of chocolate and a jar of peanut butter?

Anyways, I just unwrap them and pop it in my mouth. I used to go through a bag in one day of the mini's.

I'm probably in the minority in that I don't like peanut butter with anything other than on a sandwich with jelly. So any combination of PB and chocolate is a no go for me. And PB in cookies? What's up with that? Please.

I eat the edges first, but I don't bother separating the peanut butter from the chocolate any further. It's almost all melted together anyways by the time I'm done with the edges.

rice ice cream

I thought I had misread that and I wondered why rice would be in there as a single ingredient. Sounds good.

I love Reese Cups! I love the miniature reese cups that you find around halloween as well.

I generally eat around the outside taking just enough of the peanut butter middle to get the choc/peanut butter taste combo. Pure heaven. Then when I get to the part I've been holding, I throw what's left of it in my mouth and savor the last of the chocolate and creamy peanut-buttery goodness. :D

I gotta go buy me some Reese Cups now. Dam you Wolfpack!:p;)

Remember...There's no wrong way to eat a Reese.;)

Yep. You have got to be in the minority here. How can one not like the combination of chocolate & peanut butter?? :)

Maybe a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup made with real chocolate and real peanut butter might have something going for it, but the stuff they're made of doesn't do much for me. :)

In fact, I love chocolate, and I love peanuts, but I don't think they make for a great combination. Never been a fan of Snickers or its ilk.

Using the word ilk in reference to confectionary is frowned upon in the circles in which I travel.

Well, I've had some really, really good chocolate and applied some of my Smuckers Organic PB...it's just not the same. I'm not eatin' the pb/choc to be healthy ya' know;).

Still...for you two in the minority, what is it about that combination that you don't like??

OK...I'm confused....what's Avagadro's # got to do with PB and Chocolate?

BTW...my method for eating Reeses....first you dim the lights to a nice soft glow. where you can barely see the soft edges of the cup. Next, you turn on some nice music. Maybe some Sara Mclachlan. Close all the shades and light a candle right in the middle of the table. Sit back and make yourself extra comfortable. Pick up the reeses cup and slowly bring it towards your face. Sniff the soft odor of the chocolate, letting it cause you to salivate ever so little. The faint promise of peanut butter mixing with the sweetness of the chocolate.
Then you throw it into your mouth and chew!
