hi all,
i recently bought an inexa x3 frame from a friend, but i dont know which type of bottom bracket to use. english thread or italian thread?

I don't recognize either the make or model. What type of frame is it, what's the country of origin and when was it made? The answers should help determine the threading. Another approach is to take it to a bike shop and have them try a couple of cups for fit.
it should be a fairly new brand. and likewise the model. think it's from australia.

OK, it's a current carbon/Al blend frame, probably Taiwanese made. I'd bet a lot it's English threaded. These days even most Italian name-brand frames are English threaded.
what is the real difference between english and italian threads? i've read it's the length of the bb, but i dont quite understand which length it's talking about.
