I may have to break down and carry a real camera instead of a phone.

Your pictures don't suck, Grumpy, but I do like your competitive and creative spirit. You have months to explore and improve. :p

Do trainer rides count?

merider1

Only if you've been injured, otherwise, sorry, they don't count. :o

Don't worry Master P I'm trying. I went to the new hip coffee spot on Silverlake but it wasn't opened. They were training employees or something. I'll try to follow in your footsteps and post something this week.:)

Yes, ideal posing climate in the months ahead. This is good for all SoCal poseurs and posers.

Oh, that's right, it's not March yet. I'm already thinking conceptually about my next pose. I'm going to try to challenge myself to find interesting things to work with.

If were easy, it would be no fun. Besides, the competition is steep already! I'm not your biggest threat...

...yet. :D

This is true. I might have to make strategic changes mid-year depending on the posing climate. I know no one has brought out their big guns yet.

I'm such a posing noob.:( I don't know how to post large size pictures on BF. Did my first attempt at posin at the new coffeeshop down the street from me, lamillcoffee (that's how they spell it. It's suppose to be hip:rolleyes:) It's more like a restaurant and not a place to casually get coffee or tea. I won't be going there again and I can't reccommend it. Way too expensive. Staff didn't seem that friendly either. Could someone please help with pix posting. Next week I'm buying a new cam.

You can do either of 2 things to post images:
1) As attachments - the result will be a thumbnail sized image where people will need to click on it to see the full size one - to add, click "Go Advanced" and select Attachments from one of the buttons. You can't use "Post Quick Reply"

2) If your image is hosted/stored on another image server like flickr, you'll need to find out what the direct URL to the image is. Afterwards, just type (without the quotes and spaces) "[ I M G ]http://abc/abc.jpg[ / I M G ]" to inline them to your post. This is what you normally see in the actual PAM thread

You did good Vanessa and that's a nice photo. Thanks for the heads up on that joint. Although they're very close, I'll make sure that's not on my list of poser joints. :D
As far as posting a full size photo, if you don't have a photo hosting site where you upload all your photos, go to Photobucket.com and use them....it's free. :)

Um, don't you get to decide who wins?

That being the case you don't really need much in the way of strategy or planning.
