I will be breaking my distance record which standed for 5-7yrs.. Its not much, but its my record. Record is 3218km/yr. right now i'm at 3170.8kms.

Only 30miles to go and.... It was my motivation this year to keep on hammering..

Any suggestions on how to celebrate my record breaking ride..

Ride naked? Ride in a chicken suit?

And you have every right to be! A wonderful accomplishment. We should each strive to better our previous years accomplishments.

But the celebration? Humm, riding naked might be a tad painful and the chicken suit could be embarassing. Split the difference. Ride 1/2 naked and 1/2 in a chicken suit!

Let me see, i didn't ride the 30 miles yet... I want it to be special..

i like the half naked chicken idea, but what should i be -- a rooster or a hen?? any thoughts?

Great job I just passed my 2000 mile milestone on my new bike. I did it and didn't even realize it. Milestones are meant to be broken. Keep on riding!

I did it!!!

sorry, could not find a chicken suit and being naked might get me arrested for exposure due to "socially unacceptable/non-compliant body.":D

Did my 30 miles at an ave speed of 34kmh~21.25mph(almost broke my record~36kmh), top speed at 46kmh~28.8mph, on the highway. A friend/fellow roadie was with me, he said I had some hidden power in me today....;)

I guess I had prepared for this;) , he did not know though(about the personal record)...:p

celebrated it with some hot chocolate and "puto"; a local delicacy, at one of our stops, a rural public market.:) :beer:

Excellent time trialling, dexmax! I hope to be able to keep this pace soon.

There's room for improvement in your mileage, though. 3170 km (1970 miles) is a record that should be easy to break.
