I bought some wheat germ because it is supposed to be really good for you. Now I need some suggestions for the best way to consume it. I tried it in my oatmeal but that didn't really work too well.
Any suggestions?

I've mixed it with a strawberry smoothie like thing that i make.. It's really just water, strawberries, cherries, and wheat germ. I didn't even notice the wheat germ with the strawberry seeds. Other than that, i'm not really sure, you could probabley incorporate into most baking pretty easily.

Toasted wheat germ is great stuff.

What "didn't really work too well" with the oatmeal? I would sprinkle a little on top right before you eat it. Treat it like a spice (well, you can use more than that...)

Bake it into bread. Throw a couple tablespoons into a batch of pancakes. Sprinkle a little onto the waffle batter just before you close the waffle iron.

Sprinkle it on ice cream! You can rationalize your indulgence by adding a small but finite amount of nutrients. Got a problem with that? I don't!

I use the toasted wheat germ all the time - Kretchmer's or Mother's (cheaper & just as good). Sometimes I get the untoasted, but then I have to toeast it myself to get it to taste good, but it's a pain.

Like the others said: I put it on cereal, in pancake mix, bread, even spaghetti sauce !
