I kind of like it. I like small houses, though that's quite a bit smaller than usual, of course. It would definitely force you to live simply, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Plus, you could always add a second floor to get it up to 5-600sqft. :p

^

Wow, thats a small house but it's cute. To be honest, I can actually see myself living there. I don't like clutter so this house would be nice for people like me who like clean, simple places.

Me, personally....I think its cute, but could never live in it. I'm a space freak...I could never live in such a small place.

There should be a little, itty-bitty doghouse out back. For a chihuahua. :p

Near Redmond Town Center, you could get about $275K for that place. $300K if it has parking.

No, seriously... There are 475sq.ft. condos near RTC which start in the low $300's.

Or ride a bike...:rolleyes:Yeah, one of my first thoughts was wondering where one would store a bike in a place that size. Aside from possibly leaning it against or hanging it on the wall behind the sofa, one might need a folder in order to store a bike indoors.

Store it inside the Murphy bed, and sleep on a twin mattress on the floor!

Oooh, very nice. One could probably hang two bikes on the wall behind the frame. When it closes up, none would be the wiser!

[edit: Hmm, maybe not. But possibly one.]

Whoever that was was probably offered some good coin for that spot. In retrospect I wonder if he/she regrets holding out haha

It doesn't have enough room for my bikes...other than that it's pretty cute.

I love small houses. My dream house would be under 150 sq. ft.

i can totally see myself in living in that right now. with three bikes it would be tight but a wall/ceiling mounted bike hoist would work great!

don't remember if it was I.M.Pei who did a similar study on a small house that only took up something like 300 sq. ft. foot print....now i have to find out 'cause its going to bother the heck out of me where i read that article...

That would make a handy backyard guest house for people who you don't want to
stay with you very long.
