I loved the movies.. Cool concept, great special effects and I could rock a leather trench coat with 300$ sun-glasses.. What do you think?

I enjoyed the first one ... thought the final two were meh at best.
Yep, first one is good. Never got around to even seeing the third one.
Oh, and trenchcoats are still cool, despite a couple of antisocial rejects wearing them while on a killing spree.

I love 'em all. First is my favorite though despite what the critics say I really enjoyed the other two.

Ditto...minus the "extra dvds". What are those?
Great movies. I think most of the people who were disappointed with 2 and 3 are the ones who were in it for the special affects, not the story.
where's the "I bought the 10 dvd boxed set, super extended, extended edition" option

That should be under the "I see Binary bit streams when I open my eyes" option. Forgot to add it.

Loved 1 & 3, the religious overtones of 3 were a bit hokey. Animatrix kicks butt. PS game is OK, used mostly with the cheat for multiplayer sparring. Path of Neo is in the used game bin..might have to ..just cuz

Making of, interviews...all the crap. I have them because they were part of the kit...I don't think I have watched them, (maybe some random drunk night haha)

I loved the first one. After spending way too much money renting the VHS, over and over again, I bought it. Wore that tape out. Got another copy of the VHS from my sister. Wore it out too. Finally bought the DVD.
I thought both sequels were pretty lame.

Saw the first one and don't remember a thing about it. Obviously it didn't do much for me.

I felt the same way about them.
Pity too, there was so much potential after the first one.

The original Matrix is one of my favorite movies. I liked the other two and own all three. I think the concept that the first movie brought about was what made it so enthralling as a story. The first movie stands on it's own.
I just recently watched all three back to back and they still hold up quite well IMO.

I thought it was kind of funny to see Reloaded and Revolutions both on the $5 rack at Target last time I wandered through, but the original is still hanging out by itself on the $12 rack.

Not me, up until ~2000 I didn't care about special effects. Nowadays I think they almost always detract from the movie. On top of that, if anything, I think the effects in 2 and 3 were better.
And two and three are both still pretty wretched.
