This year I would like to complete a brevet series with the NJ randonneurs. Hopefully in July I'll be riding in the Rocky Mountain 1200. Is there anyone from NYC doing this, or who has done it in the past? I don't have a car, so I am trying to figure what my strategy will be for getting to the events in Jersey. I work until 6:30 or so m-f, so it may be a bit tricky for me to get to the events. I would also be interested in training rides with some people from the city.

(I also posted this over in the Long Distance Riding Forum)

Not the Slowest

Try Post on NYCC.org, there are a few riders who do the local Brevet and we have 6 or so do the
2007 PBP.

Good Luck

I'm doing the nycc sig 19 series and i want to do a number of the jersey brevets. but i am starting an intensive job training in june and i'm not sure how much time i will have.

Not the Slowest

I beleive the sigs end in May and will get you to Bear Mt for a Century by the class end ride, check the NYCC board. If you have the base you should be fine for the brevets.
Remember that you can do a brevet at 15-16 and not 17-18, it makes a difference.
There are many brevet's in Aug, Sept and locally they start in April(?).

Post on the NJ radoneeurs board and NYCC, someone will answer you.

Rob
