Does anybody have an idea to bleed Avid Juicy Five brakes?
Thanks.

I hate to do this but have you read the directions on the site? They are a really straight forward brake to bleed.

You could try to build your own bleed kit, but I find owning it quite useful.

Go to the local pharmacy and get a large 2oz (60ml) syringe. Get the small torx screwdriver from your toolbox.. Get the DOT fluid as labeled on the top of the reservoir from local shop or auto parts store. Get an overflow container to catch excess fluid that often leaks out of Master Cyl during the process. Look on the Avid web site for very detailed but basic instructions. Get a helper to open and close the bleed screw at the master cylinder.
..as others have said, it is easy to do. My first question would be though is why are you bleeding the brakes? It generally is a sealed system, so where or what happen to the system to make you think you needed to bleed them?.. If there was a leak? was it fixed ?
