So I found this frame on ebay and if it ends up being a reasonable price, I'll probably buy it. I wanted to get some opinions on it before actually laying down money for it though. I'm looking for a general purpose track frame that will get ridden to the track, on the track, and then home from the track. Nothing else.

That's a sexy bike, You can't really go wrong with Blue bikes, everyone I know who has one loves it, and it's less than more-expensive and less-aero framesets.

I'm following this auction, too. Luckily I don't need another aluminum track bike, so I won't be bidding.

Anyway, it seems like good frame with what appears to be solid "pursuit" geometry that should suit you in any mass-start or individual race just fine. The only thing that bothers me is the proprietary seatpost, but it seems pretty unlikely to fail, so I wouldn't really worry about it.

The best part is that it'll probably end up going for cheap, since the season is pretty far off and I don't think many people are buying non-street fixed gears right now. The last two I watched went for less than $400, as I recall.
