Salsa In-Line Levers - How's The Quality?

Does anyone know what the quality of Salsa in-levers is like? I ask because one of my Nashbar/Tektro levers literally fell apart while I was riding along and I'd like to find something higher quality to replace it. Thanks.

I've only had mine for maybe two weeks, but they seem to be well made. No problems or anything that seems like it might be a problem later. Hopefully someone who has had theirs longer will be able to give you more info.

Is there a screw, bolt, or rivet holding the lever to the body? On my Tektro lever it was fastened with a pop-rivet which fell apart after about six months. I'd like to aviod that happening again if possible.

(If anyone else loses the rivet on theirs, mine have been holding up for a few months with a nut and screw in place of the rivet.)

EDIT: It appears that all of the major brand are very similar and most likely made by Tektro. Here are some photos for comparison. If anyone knows of any functional differences (better bushings or such) between the levers I'd love to hear about it.

After a year's use, including a season of cross, I have no complaints about my Cane Creek levers.

How about Salsa's new cross levers "The Halter Top"?

They're forged out of a higher grade aluminum, so they're definitely stronger than their little brother. Salsa used a Delrin coated bushing which is a low friction, wear resistant thermoplastic coating to ensure easy braking action.

While I'm sure they are very nice they are also extremely expensive at $90, which is more than I'm willing to spend on a set of levers. But thanks for the suggestion!
