Couldn't ask for a better day in January to race I guess. Was windy and cold but the sun was out and made all the difference in the world.
We teamed up in the 4/5B race and launched our man for the win. Makes all the difference when you go in with a little strategy. He knew exactly where he was going to go and timed it perfectly.
I did a little too much work out on the course to be very effective in the end but managed to get 7th in a field of 75.
Saw the poor guy in our race who drove his high end ZIPP 404s to an early grave after nailing one of those massive pot holes out there on pot-hole road. He was parked next to us and sitting there when we got back. Never seen a set of wheels so trashed before.
