I acquired a pair of old style Look road pedals. The PO stated that the tension is weak, even dialed in to max. If one tries to sprint hard, it'll release. Is there a way to overhaul these and refurbish the tension springs on these?

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to determine their model #.

Here's a pic:

Any links to Look spec/information sites would be appreciated. Their company site was no help.
TIA.

Don't know about the springs but don't be too surprised if the backplate breaks off eventually. It was common on that model (but then yours have survived for a long time now).
