So, buddy wants me to fill an opening in a 12hrs of temecula team. I was thinking about going out to vail lake tomorrow to scope out the course, but I don't know where to go in terms of parking, etc. Anybody have some advice as to how the place works?

Well i have raced out there and ridden out there many times. They are supposed to charge for parking but no one is ever at the get entrance to the campground so I have always parked for free. You want to go in the first entrance that will be the campground entrance and there is pleanty of parking. But I would say keep 3 dollars on you handy I think that is how much they charge for parking in case someone is at the gate.
