Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well, the weather report doesn't look promising at all! :p
So those of you on the fence, you're hereby excused and will be given a raincheck. :)
I'll still be there - I'm going to ride out to Sunol from home and my husband Lee is going to drive out. So we'll have our car there. (A gray Honda Element if anyone shows up).
Lee & I will still head out at 10 from the Sunol Glen School, but if the weather funks out early it might be a short ride, maybe to the top of Calaveras or to Ed Levin Park, turn around & head back.
Those of you traveling vast distances may want to save the gas money for another time.
I'm still showing up ... and if it does rain, there's always posing at the coffee shop.

I'm getting pressure from the other half to not go :(........ cause of the weather, logically speaking all that way to ride in drizzle/grey/cold hmmm... and i just cleaned and polished my bikes....my cat ate my homework?? I think I'm bailing...sorry you guys, I'm gonna save the fossil fuel for another sunny ride down there with Jobob.
Pete :(:o
Hmm, hour and a half drive, and then possibly riding alone in the rain? I can ride alone in the rain here. :p
I'm halfway inclined to go anyway, but I probably shouldn't. Weather forecast is calling for a 100% chance of rain along with some possibly strong winds. I don't mind rain, but I hate wind. Argh.
See you guys next time, I guess.
No worries guys! Some other time.
Spingineer, at least one other hardy soul is planning to be there, my friend Dan from bikejournal. So perhaps we'll have a good group for the coffee shop at least :D

WOW. I'm all dressed, and I was going to print the map to the place, and the route sheet.
But now I'm thinking "no"
Better anyway. I'm not feeling so great (late night at the Great American Music Hall) and do I really want to muddy up my new bike on it's I-hope-I've-got-this-all-dialed-in ride. I think not. So... We'll try again, right?

BTW, we didn't get wet till the last 5-10 miles, and then, it was just barely sprinkling. Not even a hint of mud on my bike.
